REPORTED REJECTION OF ALLIANCE CONDITION REGARDING FAR EAST. NO BRITISH GUARANTEE TO RUSSIA. (Independent Cable service.) (Received This Day, 10.30 a.m.) LONDON, May 1. It is learned in London that England and France nave now been definitely informed that Japan is turning down a German offer for an axis military alliance, provided Britain gives no guarantee to Russia regarding the Far East. It is understood that Britain intimated that negotiations with Russia did not concern the Far East. NEW POINT OF VIEW HERR HITLER’S SPEECH A WARNING. AGAINST INTERVENTION IN FAR EAST. TOKIO, May 1. Britain and America should heed Herr Hitler’s speech last week as being a warning against intervention in the Far East, stated the Foreign Office spokesman today. "The Fuehrer's rejection of the right of interference in international issues is heartily approved by Japan which demands Asia for the Asijics.’ he added.
