The “Daily Express” understands that the cruisers Southampton and Glasgow, will convoy the liner Empress of Australia when it conveys the King and Queen to Canada, leaving Portsmouth at 2 p.m. (G.M.T.) on Saturday. The Empress of Australia will be manned by a picked crew of merchant seamen with a minimum number of naval ratings for signalling and guard duties. Their Majesties will occupy the two largest suites comprising ten rooms on A deck.
