AIRMAN RESCUED

ROY EDWARDS RETURNS TO DARWIN. TREATED KINDLY BY NATIVES. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright. DARWIN, May 1. The young aviator Roy Ewards, who made a forced landing on a beach near Elche Island during a flight from Darwin to Cape Arnhem, was rescued by the flying doctor Fenton and taken back to Darwin today. Edwards said that the natives were hospitable and built him a rough shelted and provided him with native food. His plane was not damaged. His forced landing was caused by a bad storm and shortage of fuel.
