Mr Gielgud is famous as a novelist. He is author of “Black Gallantry,” “Imperial Treasure;” “The Broken Men,” and “Gravehanger.” In collaboration with Mr Holt Marvell he has written “Death at Broadcasting House,” “Under London,” and other thrillers. He has also collaborated with Commander Stephen King Hall in the writing of plays. Vai Gielgud’s story for the “TimesAge” is entitled “Beyond Dover,” and deals with the adventures’of a pretty typist, Sally Martin, who is drawn into the vortex of an international intrigue for a throne; and of her youthful admirer, Nigel Craven, who, jealous of the attention of a foreign prince, follows in pursuit, only to find that Sally is not eager to be "rescued." Although full of highly dramatic situations, the story has sophistication and a pleasant vein of humour. It is an example of the modern serial at its best. Begin it in the “Times-Age” tomorrow. ’
