CONFERENCES IN ROME & BERLIN RUMANIAN & HUNGARIAN MINISTERS. POLISH AMBASSADOR IN BERLIN GOES TO WARSAW. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright. (.Received This Day, 11.30 a.m.) LONDON, April 30. Widespread diplomatic activity throughout Europe continued during the weekend. In Rome, Signor Mussolini conferred for an hour with General von Brauchitsch on aspects of military co-operation between Italy and Germany. The Rumanian Foreign Minister (Dr. Gafencu) conferred with Count Ciano for ninety minutes, thig being the*first meeting between Italian and Rumanian Ministers for ten years. In Berlin, Count Teleki and Count Csaky met Herr von Ribbentrop and Field-Marshal Goering and reaffirmed the German and Hungarian identity of views. The Polish Ambassador went to Warsaw to inform his Government of Ger-man-Polish relations. In Paris Sir E. Phipps (British Ambassador) interviewed M. Georges Bonnet (Foreign Minister). It is believed he conveyed the result of the talks between M* Maisky (Soviet Ambassador to Britain) and Lord Halifax (British Foreign Minister).
