GIRL FOUND DEAD
AT BASE OF POWER STANDARD. CONTACT WITH HIGH-TENSION WIRE. (By Telegraph—-Press Association.) WANGANUI. This Day. The body of Gwen Lillian .Jones, aged 20, daughter of Mr L. 1 • Jones, farmer, of Paparangi, was lound early this morning underneath a steel tower carrying the Wanganui-Rangitikei electric power lines across the Wanganui River. Miss Junes evidently had climbed the tower, and camo imo contact with a live wire carrying 110.000 volts. She was electrocuted and fi ll 90 feel m the ground.
