DENUNCIATION OF TREATIES ASSURANCE TO POLAND. NO FUNDAMENTAL CHANGE IN RELATIONS. (Received This Day, 12.20 p.m.) BERLIN, April 28. The British and Polish Ambassadors received the Notes of denunciation simultaneously. The United States Charge D'Afl'aires received th< text of Herr Hitler’s speech as the answer to President Roosevelt's message. The phrasing of the Note to Britain is identical. To Herr Hitler’s references to the Naval Treaty in his speech, it adds: — "Germany in future is respecting the qualitative terms of the agreement, thus contributing to the avoidance of an unrestricted race in naval armaments.” The Note to Poland i: also similar lo Herr Hitler’s speech, and additionally gives assurances that Germany cl-.x.-:; not intend to change her fundamental attitude towards future relations between Poland and Germany. POLAND ASTONISHED ALLEGED NON-AGGRESSION OFFER. NOTHING KNOWN OF IT. (Received This Day, 12.20 p.m.) WARSAW. April 28. Official circles are most astonished at Herr Hitler’s reference to a twenty-five years' non-aggression offer, and declare that they have no knowledge of it.
