"INSANE POLITICIANS"

HijRR HITLER’S DENUNCIATION OF DEMOCRACIES More About Relations With Poland ANGLO-GERMAN WAR NEVER AGAIN POSSIBLE By Telegraph—Press Association.--Copyright. (Received This Day, 11.35 a.m.) BERLIN, April 28. In further passages of his speech. Herr Hiller stated that almost 115 million people had been deprived of their rigid' to self-determination by insane politicians, they were torn l.roin their old communities and reformed regardless of blood, origin, economic needs and common sense. When this arrangement proved to be a catastrophe, the democratic peace dictators of American and European origin were so. cowardly that none would take responsibility for what had happened. “I have heard Mr Chamberlain’s statement that he is no longer able to put trust in German assurances,’’ Herr Hitler continued. Under the circumstances, I consider it a matter ol course that we no longer wish him or the British people to bear the burden of a situation which is only conceivable in an atmosphere of mutual confidence. When Germany became National Socialist, I, of my own accord, in pursurance of an unswerving policy of friendship with England, proposed a voluntary restriction of German armaments—a restriction based one one condition, namely a conviction that Anglo-German war was never again possible. This wish, this conviction, is alive, in me today.” The Fuehrer went on to state that there was little to be said regarding Bolish-German relations. The strange way in which the Danzig corridor was marked.out primarily was designed to prevent the establishment of Bolish-German understanding. The problem.” he said, “perhaps is the most painful for Germany. On the other hand, Danzig has contracts with Boland admittedly forced on her by the dictates of Versailles. Since the League of Nations is now represented by a High Commissioner —incidentally, a man of extraordinary tact —Danzig must come up for discussion at the latest with the gradual extinction of this .calamitious institution.” Herr Hitler revealed that several months ago he offered Boland, firstly, Danzig’s return as a free city into the framework of the Reich; secondly, Germany to receive a route across Hie corridor, with a railway at her disposal, possessing the same extra-territorial status for Germany as the corridor for Roland. In return, Germany was prepared, firstly, to recognise all Bolish rights in Danzig; secondly, to ensure Boland a free harbour at Danzig of any size desired; also completely free access to the sea; thirdly, final acceptance of the existing Bolish-Ger-man boundaries; fourthly, to conclude a twenty-five year BolishGerman non-aggression treaty; fifthly, a guarantee of the independence of Slovakia jointly by Germany, Roland and Hungary, meaning the renunciation of unilateral German hegemony

in this territory.
