AIR FORCE CRASH IN N.S.W. PLANE DIVES FROM GREAT HEIGHT. | TALL TREES FIRST STRUCK. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright. SYDNEY. April 28. An Air Force plane crashed from a great height this afternoon in the vicinity of Richmond aerodrome, the four occupants .being killed. The victims were: Pilot Officer L. Harkness. Victoria, Pilot Officer M. Hickson. Aircraftman R. Knight and Aircraftman H. Clark, all of Sydney. The machine was a twin-engine An- ■ son reconnaissance plane and only six months old. Eye-witnesses state that the engines suddenly stopped and the plane dived and banked. Nearing the ground it struck some tall trees and finally crashed into a creek and was smashed to atoms. The bodies were mutilated.
