Ottawa— Production of jewellery, silverware, etc., in Canada in 1937 was valued at 13,193,546 dollars The 1937 output was the fifth in succession to show an increase over the preceding year. Production included jewellery to the value of 3,353,037 dollars, clocks, watches and watch cases 1.737.525 dollars, sterling silverware 584.791 dollars, electroplated ware 2.835,668 dollars, articles of fine gold 1,596,452 dollars mid gold alloys 570,086 dollars. A strictly enforced standard of quality all d distinctive marks is provided by the Canadian Government.
