'Winnipeg.—Canada’s 1938 wheat crop is averaging about a grade higher than in 1937. with No. 2 Northern being the more common grade this season as compared with No. 3 Northern in 1937. Approximately 87 per cent of the wheat inspected by Canadian Government officials in the five-month period from August to December 31 graded No. 3 Northern or higher while in the corresponding period of 1937 only 84 per cent iarne within that grade.
