The annual meeting of the Wairarapa Basketball Referee’s Association was held at the Wairarapa College on Wednesday last. There was a good attend.ance of both old and new members. General business was followed by a discussion on the rules pertaining to the new international game. It was dejided to invite a competent Welling-, ton referee to visit this district to give a correct interpretation of these rules. Reference was made to the referee’s examination which will be held in lune next. The following officers were elected or the year: President, Miss R. K. Edvards; vice-president, Miss P. Kilmiser; secretary, Miss J. B. Russell.
