GOLF COMPETITIONS. (“Times- Age” Special.) On Saturday the Greytown Club will commence a medal round for the best net and best gross score. The following is the'draw:—J. C. Feast v. T. Nelson; H. W. Feast v. T. Gold; H. C. R. Feast v. C. Stunell; J. E .Feast v. H. G. Carter; R. Rhodes v. W. Tully; F. C. Bunny v. H. A. Evans; J. W. Tate v. N. McLeod; S. C. Shedden v. E. Williams; A. Carter v. Ray Ingley; B. Haigh v. Dr. Oakey; F. J. Nichols v. A. G. Nisbet; H. Keltie v. G. F. Eager; W. Brown v. C. Burch; W. Everett v. A. G. Peterson. All games are to start at 1.15 sharp. Any player unable to play is asked to notify Mr H. G. Carter. A competition will be played by the lady members of the Greytown Club for a trophy donated by Mrs Kiernan. Players must be off the tee by 1 p.m. TRUST LANDS TRUST. . ANNUAL MEETING. The annual meeting of the Greytown Trtist Lands Trust was held last night. The annual report stated that during the year grants had been made to the Grey town Fire Brigade (£2O), Library (£6O). Greytown School (£6O), Plunket Society (£10). and Health Stamp Campaign (£2), a total of £172. Improvements to buildings totalled £693 5s 6d. The trustees have registered the sale of sections 89, 90, 91, 92 to the Crown for housing purposes for £530 15s. The present book value of the buildings is £4221 8s lid. Shares in the Permanent Investment Co. amounted to £377 17s 6d. The trustees regret to record the death of Mr D. P. Loasby who was chairman of the Trust for many years, and wish to place on record their appreciation of his long and faithful service. Messrs H. G. Carter and F. Dennes will retire this year by rotation. Messrs M. Martin and W. Tully, retiring auditors, offer themselves for reelection. Mr E. Richards moved a vote of thanks to the trustees which was carried by acclamation. Football Teams. Greytown will have two teams in the seven-a-side tournament at Carterton tomorrow. The teams will be picked from the following:— Stringfellow, Hood, Segrue, Brunton (2), Nix, McWilliams, Heines, Hume, Houghton, Humphries, Jury, McCalmont, Flutey, Brice, Habib, Parker. Junior Hockey Teams. The following players will play against Dalefield at Greytown tomorrow:—Hobson, Day, Anker (2), Jury, Hay, Skeet, Rees, W. Trotman, Brabender (2). The following will represent Greytown A against Wesley at the Greytown Domain tomorrow: —J. Morgan, Dennis. Keltie, Humphries, Harris, McKenzie, Bouzaid, Rewi, Barnard, Raison, Connolly. Emergencies: A. Morgan and K. Trotman.
