GREYHOUND RACING

BIG MEETING AT SOLWAY ON SATURDAY. GOOD ENTRIES RECEIVED. Record entries (totalling 96) have been received for the Wairarapa Coursing Club’s greyhound racing meeting to be held at the Solway Showgrounds on Saturday. As the champions from each district will be competing, keen and exciting racing should be a feature of the day. There will be 26 races (20 flat and 6 hurdle) during the afternoon, and to enable the club to put through this big programme the meeting will commence promptly at 2 p.m. The entirely new plant is in excellent working order and the club is looking forward to a most successful meeting.
