TERRITORIALS PRAISED

PARADE ON ANZAC DAY. The following letter has been received by the Masterton Defence Office from the secretary of the Wairarapa Returned Soldiers’ Association: “I am directed by my committee to convey to the officers, N.C.O’s. and men of the Territorial units which took part in the Anzac Day parade, our appreciation of the manner in which the parade was conducted. The smart appearance, conduct and marching of the Territorials was favourably commented upon, and evoked the admiration and approbation of the large body of ex-Service men and the general public. Will you be good enough to make this appreciation known to all ranks at a convenient opportunity?”
