Critics paid tribute to the Australian soprano, Linda Parker, who gave her first public recital in the Wigmore Hall last night, the programme including operatic arias. The “Daily Telegraph” says: “She has a beautiful voice and her singing is unfailingly grateful to the ear. It will be surprising if more is not heard of her.”
