SUBSTANTIAL DEFICIT ONLY MINOR FISCAL CHANGES. APPEAL FOR ENTERPRISE. By Telegraph- Press Association— Copyright. (Received This Day. 12.15 p.m.) OTTAWA. April 25. Presenting the Budget, with only minor tariff and lax changes, the Finance Minister. Mr Chas Dunning, revealed a 55,000,000 dollar deficit tor the year and that he is budgeting for a 60,000.000 dollar deficit next year. Mr Dunning urged private investors in industry to drop their defeatist altitude and take up leadership for a revival of trade.
