“WILD BRIAN KENT.” A drama of the West with a brand new kind of hero creating a havoc of excitement, action and romance is “Wild Brian Kent,” which will be shown at the. Cosy Theatre tonight. Easygoing, pleasure-loving, their branded “yellow” by the girl he loves, Ralph Bellamy is starred in the title role as the playboy turned cowboy who, blazes a trail to a thrilling come-back. The merciless attempts of the desert crooks who would stop at nothing to seize the ranch, serve to shake Ralph out of his lethargy. With single-handed daring Ralph blasts a bandit band out of the bad lands to win through to a glorious romance with the attractive Mae Clarke, as the owner of the valuable Circle V Ranch. The other feature is “Take My Tip.”, In this delightful picture George and Hattie. Lord and Lady Pilkington, are very fond of each other, but their individual extravagances lead to frequent quarrels. Then George, whilst taking a Turkish bath, is persuaded by a shady financier named Buchan to purchase a non-existent oil well, for £15,000 which is the entire fortune of the Pilkingtons. Buchan, of course, disappears, and the couple are left to face a somewhat dismal future. However, a former butler in their household named Paradine turns up, proves to be the owner of a palatial hotel in Dalmatia, and offers them both positions there. They are obliged to accept.' The leading roles are in the hands of Jack Hulbert, Cicely Courtneidge, Philip Buchel, Frank Cellier and Harold Huth.
