WOOL MARKET

YORKSHIRE TRADE. POSITION REPORTED TO BE SOUND. By Telegraph—Press Association —Copyright. LONDON, April 22. There has been little change in the Bradford tops market. Traders are not nervous and feel that whatever innational developments may be, their position is sound. The industry as a whole is carrying raw material equivalent to several months’ supplies. The consumption of merinos is slightly disappointing. The civilian worsted trade is below normal. Government orders, however, are keeping crossbreds moving. Yorkshire manufacturers, in conjunction with the Wool Secretariat, nave launched a campaign to popularise wool upholstery in motor-cars.
