FATALLY INJURED
PILLION RIDER’S DEATH. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH. April 23. Head injuries from which he died in Christchurch hospital this morning were received by Edward Joseph Bro-, cherie, agei 25, a single man, of Riccarton,. when he was thrown, from a motor-cycle in Lincoln Road shortly after midnight on Saturday. Mr Brocherie was a pillion passenger on a machine ridden by his brother, Clarence B. Brocherie. The motor-cycle collided with a bicycle, which was- being pushed by a pedestrian, and then swerved and overturn-, ed. The rider of the motor-cycle was uninjured.
