The Minister of Defence, Mr lan Mackenzie, has ordered the Dartmouth naval air base to investigate the report of a mother ship 500 miles out tcl sea servicing a mystery submarine fleet. Minesweepers are patrolling the Nova Scotian coast, and a guard is being maintained in Halifax harbour.
