CARTERTON GOLF CLUB
SEASON OPENED ON SATURDAY. (“Times-Age” Special.) The Carterton Golf Club officially opened its season on the Taratahi links on Saturday. The competition played was a mixed foursome over 16 holes. The winning pair were Mr and Mrs R. Harrington with a score of 82-26-56. Other cards were: —W. Candy and Mrs Callender, 76, 18, 58; R. T. Forbes and Miss M. Campbell, 85, 19, 66; D. L. Taverner and Mrs Forbes, 91, 24, 67; S. Booth and Mrs B. Booth, 88, 21, 67.
