Ottawa.—With changing methods of transportation, Canadian trapping laws have had to be altered to prevent the wholesale destruction of furbearing animals in Canada’s northlands. Use of aeroplanes by trappers has been limited in the Dominion only to transportation between the points of outfitting and the trapper’s base camp. This prevents the use of aeroplanes in the operation of numerous trap lines over an extensive area.
