Herr Hitler opened his birthday celebrations today by receiving the Nazi leaders, followed by the old warriors of the party who are the wearers of the coveted Blood Order. The Fuehrer later, sitting in the front seat of an open car, journeyed four miles from the Chancellery to the limit of the new axis motor road, where there was a brief ceremony. Cheering crowds lined the route. Britain and France were not represented among the official delegations from the many countries,, but Lord Brocket and Major-General Fuller were the private guests of the Fuehrer.
