PUBLIC NOTICE OF PROPOSED APPLICATION FOR SANCTION OF LOAN. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Masterton Borough Council proposes, at a meeting to be held on the Bth day of May, 1939, to consider a motion to apply to the Local Government Loans Board for its sanction to the borrowing of the sum of Three thousands pounds (£3000) for the purpose of erecting a dwelling house and outbuildings necessary for the efficient working of the Borough Endowment lands of approximately 748 acres, situated near Eketahuna, in the Survey District of Mangaone. The currency of the said Loan to be 20 years, and the rate of interest to be 31 per centum, plus a Sinking Fund of 3? per centum. Security for the said Loan shall be a Special Rate of 5-64ths of Id in the £, based on the Unimproved Value of all rateable property within the Borough of Masterton. Any person havfhg any objection to the proposed application is called upon to submit the same in writing to the Masterton Borough Council not later than the day preceding the said meeting.
