COLLAPSE OF BRIDGE
TRACTOR DRIVER KILLED. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) GISBORNE. April 20. Thomas Charles Hutton, an employee at the Gisborne Box Company’s mill in Waitangirua, was killed instantly late yesterday afternoon when a tractor he was driving crashed through a bridge. The crash was heard a few minutes after Mr Hutton had left the mill and an investigation showed that the bridge had collapsed. Mr Hutton was pinned beneath the tractor.
