SYDNEY SALES. PRICES FIRM FOR BEST SORTS. By Telegraph—Press Association— Copyright. SYDNEY, April 20. At the Sydney wool sales competition today was well sustained with prices firm for best sorts. Faulty and doubtful yielding lines were irregular. A line of greasy merino made 18Jd. A total of 9309 bales was offered, 7690 being sold ’at auction; also 794 privately.
