Ono man was killed and two were injured when a car containing three Y.M.C.A. secretaries at railway camps crashed down a 60-foot hillside threequarters of a mile north of Paritq, .at 4.15 p.m. this afternoon. The victims were:— Killed: Ronald Middleton-Taylor, single, secretary, at No 4 camp, Y.M.C.A. Injured: J. Kennedy, married, secretary, Kopuwhara Y.M.C.A., shock. S. Hodges,, married, secretary, Paritu Y.M.C.A., injuries, not serious, now in Cook Hospital. The ear was returning from Gisborne, Hodges being the driver. The accident occurred when the car was approaching a corner.
