FURTHER CONTRIBUTION BY BRITAIN. GOOD WORK BY RED CROSS. Bv Telegraph—Press Association —Conyright LONDON, April 18. The Under-Secretary for Foreign Affairs, Mr R. A. Butler, said in the I .use of Commons today that Britain vas contributing a further sum of £40,000 Io the International Commis sion for Child Refugees from Spain. "'The British Red Cross had effectively utilised £50,000 which it had receiv ed from the Government for relief work in internment camps in southeastern France, and Britain was giving 500 tons of food for poverty-stricken people in Madrid.
