NEW 8.8. C. PROGRAMME. CONTACT WITH FOREIGN COUNTRIES. (British Official Wireless.) RUGBY, April 18. A new feature programme devoted to international understanding is announced by the British Broadcasting Corporation. The intention is to break down the barriers of language and custom which separate the peoples by emphasising the everyday things which unite them, as well as the ideals and problems common to them all. The programmes will involve exten • sive travel in foreign countries .by 8.8. C. producers with a recording unit.
