APRIL 26—27: “Take My Tip”—Jack Hulbert and Cicely Courtneidge, Harold Heith and Frank Cellier. “Wild Brian Kent,” starring Ralph Bellamy, Mae Clarke, Leo Kelly and Jack Duffy. Harold Bell Wright’s best book. APRIL 28—May 1: “A Slight Case of Murder,” featuring a new Ed. G. Robinson in a screamingly funny comedy; also in the cast are Allen Jenkins, Ruth Donnelly and Jane Bryan. “Strange Faces,” with Dorothea Kent, Frank Jenks, Hobart Cavanaugh, and Andy Devine in the leading roles. REGENT. APRIL 21—24: “Stablemates”—co-star-ring Wallace Beery and Mickey Rooney. The supporting roles are filled by Arthur Hohl, Marjorie Gateson. Excellent Regent featurettes include: “Once Over Lightly” (a good musical comedy); "Practical Jokers,” Alfalfa and “Our Gang” at their best, and “Double Diving,”- a Pete Smith specialty.
