The West Coast (North Island) trotting circuit was concluded with the second day of the Manawatu club’s meeting at Awapuni today. There was excellent racing, the finishes being the best seen on the circuit. The weather was fine though overcast, and the attendance fair. Totalisator investments were £10,386 10s, and the total for the meeting £21,766. There was no second day last year. Results: — Kairanga Handicap, 14m.: 3, Guy Whispers, scr (C. K.
