HEADS OF HITLER & MUSSOLINI. PICTURE BANNED IN BRITAIN. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright LONDON, April 17. The Royal Society, of British Artists has banned a picture by Mr Otway McCannells, R.8.A., A.R.W.A., showing the devil weighing the heads of Hitler and Mussolini in the scales of justice before a shocked audience, including the Pope, Mr Chamberlain and President Roosevelt. The society requested the withdrawal of the picture because: “It might be misunderstood in the present state of European affairs.''
