The two portable classrooms shifted from the Hutt Central School to West School have been erected and are now ready for occupation. On Monday these rooms will be used by the infant children, who have been accommodated for the past few weeks in the detached annexe, following a decision not to allow children to occupy the main building, which was considered unsafe on account of earthquake damage. Children in the standard classes have been accommodated at Wairarapa College but on Monday the pupils of Standards 1 and 2 will return to West and occupy their original room in the annexe. Standards 3,4, 5 and 6 will remain at the College.
