GIBRALTAR DEFENCE
SPANISH EXPLANATION OF ARRIVAL OF TROOPS AT LA LINEA. ATTRIBUTED TO NATIONALIST DEMOBILISATION. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyrigh (Received This Day, 10.55 a.m.) GIBRALTAR, April 14. It is explained in Spanish quarters that the continued arrival of troops at La Linea is due to Nationalist demobilisation. In addition to road barricades, it is, understood that defences are being placed at the Admiralty Harbour at the weekend.
