PIG HUNTER’S DEATH
SHOT IN BACK OF HEAD. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) NEW PLYMOUTH, April 13. Ronald Verrail, aged 22. Otahuhu, a carpenter, died an hour after he was shot in the back of the head during a pig-hunting expedition about 16 miles inland from Whangamoana today. Mr Verrall was ahead of two companions, Messrs Arthur Callaghan and Edgar Renner, both of Putaruru. As one fired, Mr Verrall jumped up and received the bullet in the back of the head. ‘
