HARROW DEMONSTRATION

A demonstration of wide interest to the farming community will be given' at the Solway Showgrounds on Monday at 3 p.m.. when the Bevin harrow will be seen in action. It is claimed that by using this harrow, farmers can make a considerable saving in manure and yet increase their production. The action of the harrow in opening up the soil allows the sun to do its work and has, it is stated, resulted in marked improvement in pastures and lessening of stock troubles of all kinds.
