CONCERTS IN PALESTINE
DR MALCOLM SARGENT'S TOUR. (British Official Wireless.) RUGBY, April 12. An illustration of the greater cultural opportunities resulting from the facilities afforded by air travel occurs in the news that Dr Malcolm Sargent, who conducted the London Philharmonic Orchestra in London on Good Friday, only four days later led a rehearsal of the Palestine Philharmonic Orchestra at Telaviv. During his 18 days’ stay in Palestine. Dr Sargeant will conduct at eight concerts.
