PERRY BROS.’ CIRCUS
Perry Bros.’ gigantic circus and zoo will arrive in Masterton tomorrow morning by special train to open their season of two night and one matinee. Perry Bros, are acclaimed by press and public to be the greatest show ever to leave the shores of Australia. It is a glamorous revelation of everything that a modern circus should be. produced and presented under one of the largest marquees ever to be seen in New Zealand. Coming direct, from Europe is the Flying Dunbars act which is claimed to be the most sensational yet seen in New Zealand. They perform miraculous feats whilst flying in mid-air. This outstanding act will be supported by one of the strongest combinations of circus performers ever to visit New Zealand. There is a new team of Continental clowns and “dummies” who can be relied upon to produce comedy that is as diversified as it is original. Their versatility is as remarkable as their accomplishments. Never in all history has any circus made such an instant hit. It is a show of merit and distinction setting a sensational standard in present, day circus entertainment. Besides their circus entertainment Perry Bros.’ also take pride of place with their mammoth zoo of 18 cages of wild animals and a herd of elephants. It is the largest travelling zoo in Australasia. The zoo will be open from 4 to 5 p.m. daily for the feeding of the wild animals. This as well as being entertaining is of educational value. The huge marquee will be located next to Tatton’s Garage, opposite the Catholic Church. There will be a special matinee on Saturday afternoon at 2.30 pjn.
