BUILDING IN WANGANUI
BIG INCREASE IN LAST TWO YEARS.. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) WANGANUI, This Day. Wanganui building permits for the last financial year totalled £191,000, the highest for a decade. In the previous year permits issued were worth £115,000. These figures mean that,more building has been done in the last two years than during the previous seven put together. Four blocks of Government houses and the new Post Office, costing £85,000 are included in the total.
