HORSE REWARDED

Two Hollywood carpenters who had once, bet two dollars at 100 to 1 on Jim .Dandy and won —didn’t forget. Jim Dandy, of course, is the world famous racehorse who stunned the sports world with his defeat of Gallant Fox, and the carpenters saw him again during the filming of the Kentucky Derby sequences for “Kentucky.” Even though they had long ago spent their winnings (or possibly lost them on other. horses) they felt they owed the Dandy something. And so, when the shooting was over they stole up to him with the present behind their backs. The present was a lovely blanket embroidered with “To Jim —with Love.”
