HAUNUI CROQUET CLUB. CHAMPIONSHIP DOUBLES. ("Times-Age” Special.) Mrs Barry and Miss Eva Card were the winners for the A grade championship doubles which were finished yesterday Personal Items. Mrs R. Nicols who has been visiting her sister, Mrs Chas. Edwards, left yesterday for Auckland, where she will sail for England at the end of the week. Mr Guy Thynne, of H.M.S. Philomel, is visiting his uncle, Mr N. C. C. Shepherd. Mr and Mrs Hutchinson have returned to Wellington after having been guests of Mrs G. Harkness for the Easter holidays. Mr Cyril Wilkie, Miss Joan Wilkie and Miss Mary Craig, of Hastings, were the guests of Mrs C. J. Nix for the Wairarapa races. The Red Queen. The euchre party and dance in aid of the Red Queen. Miss Ngaire Tocker, which was to have been held in South Featherston Hall, is now to be held in Kaiwaiwai, as advertised.
