REVIEW AT LABOUR PARTY CONFERENCE. CONFIDENCE EXPRESSED IN MR NASH. IBy Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON. This Day. A review of the work of His departments by the Minister of Finance, Mr Nash, was the principal business at the afternoon session of the annual conference of the New Zealand Labour Party in Wellington yesterday. Mr Nash spoke for about an hour and at the conclusion of his address the following motion was carried unanimously:—“That this conference thanks Mr Nash for his address, expresses its confidence in him as Minister of Finance and in the financial policy of the Government so ably administered by him. and places on record its full trust in the Government’s ability to administer the affairs of the country in the interests of the people of the country,'' . . . .
