BIBLE CLASS CAMP
METHODIST CHURCH GATHERING AT FERNRIDGE. ENJOYABLE AND PROFITABLE OCCASION. Between thirty and forty members of the Methodist Young Men’s Bible Classes went into camp al the Fernridge School at Easter. The party, which included members from varous par.s of the Wairarapa, besides a large Masterton contingent, assembled on Thursday evening. The camp was in charge of the Rev Howard Harkness, M.A. Full opportunity was taken to spend the time profitably in study circles, sp ritual meetings, sports and enter.ainment. The four square life—mental, physical, spiritual and moral—was stressed. . On Saturday afternoon an enjoyable sports programme was held, the junior championship being won by S. Rees, the senior championship by Rex Daniell, and the cup for the best class by Masterton Seniors. In the evening a camp concert was held, when various items were contributed by Bible Class members. A number of visitors from Masterton were present. Camp communion service was conducted on Monday morning by the Rev F. J. Parker and camp was broken in the afternoon.
