ADVANCE TO HONG KONG FRONTIER. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright. Hong Kong, April 11. Japanese troops have landed at Deep Bay and are advancing to the Hong Kong frontier. CITY ABLAZE. . IN VICINITY OF JAPANESE LANDING. (Received This Day, 10.55 a.m.) HONG KONG, April 11. The city of Namtau, in the vicinity of which the Japanese landed, is reported to be ablaze. Fourteen hundred Japanese troops landed at Taishing and are reported to have captured Shekwan. ACTION IN FRANCE. TROOPS RECALLED FROM LEAVE. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright (Received This Day, 11. a.m.) PARIS. April 11. It is reported that troops and naval engineers have been recalled from Easter leave. Briskness prevails at the Toulon naval base. A Gibraltar message states that the guard at the Spanish frontier has been heavily reinforced and patrolled in full kit.
