AUCKLAND CHEQUE. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) AUCKLAND, April 11. For the third season in succession proceeds from the three Auckland wool sales this season are expected to exceed the £1.000.000 mark. Cheques for the third and final sale held on March 27 and 28 will be distributed tomorrow, the prompt date, and though brokers have not yet completed their returns', it is estimated that the amount realised will be about £417,000. On these figures the return for the three sales 'of the season will be about £500,000 less than the record cheque for Auckland in 1936-37. but with this exception will probably be the largest return for at least, 11 years.
