Miss Nancy Payton. whose marriage takes place tomorrow night, was entertained at a delightful cocktail party yesterday at the' residence of Dr. and Mrs Archer Hosking. The hostesses were Misses Lois Hosking, Nan Rishworth and Mary Logan. ENGAGEMENT STEVENS—KNOWLES. The engagement is announced of Evelyn, eldest daughter of Mr and Mrs F. Knowles, Masterton, to Robert, only son of Mr and the late Mrs R. S. Stevens, Masterton.
