TREBOR SCORES AT TAUHERENIKAU
BEAUPARTIR WINS IN RECORD TIME Racing in New Zealand and Australia on Saturday provided fast times in many of the events. At Auckland Beaupartir won the Easter Handicap in record time, while at Tauherenikau the principle event went to the recently imported hack Trebor, who has now won seven out of his last eight races. Old Bill won the Feilding Cup in fast time. Passaform and Black Banner were the principal winners at Riverton, Golden Chest at Grey mouth, and Swordstick at Tuapeka. At the Randwick autumn carnival New Zealand horses won three races. Defaulter put up a brilliant performance by winning the Autumn Plate by a head from Allunga. Gold Rod won the Doncaster Handicap and Mosaic the A.J.C. St Leger.
