Mrs A. Henson, Lansdowne, spent the Easter holidays with her sister, Mrs A. Riggs, of Ngaio. Mr and Mrs Andrew Bold, junr, are the guests of Mr and Mrs B. Morriss, Rongokokako. for Easter. Mrs A.' Webber, of Cole Street, Masterton, returns to Masterton today after spending Easter in Wellington. Mr and Mrs L. F. Johnson, of Wellington, and Miss Binstead, are the guests of Mr and Mrs C. Taylor, “Waireka,” Masterton.
Mr and Mrs Harry Cane, and Miss M. Levy, of Wellington, who have been spending a holiday in Masterton, will return home today. Mr and Mrs Adamson and their daughter, Barbara, of Wellington, are spending a holiday with Mrs Baikie, Bentley Street, Masterton. Mr and Mrs Max Maddison, Hastings, and Mr and Mrs V. Brazendale, Lower Hutt, are the guests of Mr and Mrs Arthur Haigh, of Greytown. Mr and Mrs V. H. Forde, of .New Plymouth and formerly of Eketahuna, are the guests of Mr and Mrs McAlister, Alfredton Road, Eketahuna. Mr and Mrs J. Cleghorn, who will leave shortly on a visit to America, will be tendered a farewell social at Mangamutu on Monday night next. Miss Amy Kane, Dominion President of the Women’s Institutes will leave Wellington tomorrow for the North Auckland district to attend Institute council meetings. ENGAGEMENT. INNES—BOYES. The engagement is announced of Ina Doreen, younger daughter of Mr and Mrs R. Y. Boyes, Eketahuna, to Colin Purvis Francis, only son of Mrs and the late Mr E. S. Innes, Lower Hutt.
