♦ - CONFERENCE IN WELLINGTON. SIX HUNDRED DELEGATES PRESENT. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, This Day. The twenty-third annual conference of the New Zealand Labour Party, opened in the Town Hall this morning with the national president (Mr James Roberts) presiding over an attendance of six hundred delegates. The Conference is expected to last four days. Members of the Cabinet present included the Hons W. Nash, H. G. R. Mason and H. T. Armstrong. The Prime Minister is to attend at 2 p.m. to present the report of the Parliamentary Labour Party. He will also be present tomorrow night with a number of colleagues at the social function.
